PUSAT EHSAN - SURAU (Design & Build)
Religious & Community Space Design | Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam
ABOUT PROJECT
Pusat Ehsan is a non-government, charity organisation committed to providing quality education, rehabilitation and training programs for individuals with special needs.
Following Phase 2 of Pusat Ehsan’s Master Development Plan was to construct a Surau, accommodating 115 people and two religious classrooms.
Delivering the main goal of its full functionality. We also made sure that simplicity was also a complimentary factor that enables the students to feel like they are included in the (wider) community.
Loose items such as shoe racks, Qur’an racks, partitions and windows were designed exclusively for the surau alone and its users.
